Walking Tour of Canary Wharf will take place on 28th October 2008. It is available for attendees of the Evening Course only and is included in the Evening Course fee.
Walking Tour of Canary Wharf itinerary: Meeting at 15:30 in front of Heron Quays DLR Station (the street entrance off Grime Street / Bank Street side)
There after:
- Trading floors of selected banks or proprietary trading houses
- Financial Services Authority
- See the flashing lights and ticker information of a leading news and data vendor
- Museum of Docklands - guided highlights tour that will give an overview of the museum story of Docklands
- Preserved warehouses of West India Quey
- Top of 'One Canada Square' – the tallest building in the UK
The tour ends at 18.30 and is followed by a drinks reception at a traditional English pub. |
